As usual, spot on, my friend. I wonder if it looked like a butterfly in real time. Nice flow to this. Good rhythm. Actually, a good poetic aura also.

There is not much more beautiful than the images created by reflections upon a body of water.
This poem provides is beautifully done. Then, if the reader was left with any doubt as to what was playing out, the explanation of what is actually was put it over the top.
Great photography to be able to capture this and it really augments the poetic story so well

Your way of this poetry, by that I mean the inspiration; the origin of the concept is profound. That you took the picture first, then printed it out and thought of what you could do with this amazing sight is unbelievable and very impressive and respected. For others, the concept would have popped up first, then the picture to follow, depicting the exact meaning.
The poem and the image goes very much along like tagging two friends on social media

The problem with writing in completed trochaic linespecially is that everything ends up sounding like Hiawatha. We just like to finish on a stressed syllable. You find the same sort of thing with the few poems written in dactyls. Ending a line on two unstressed syllables is really weird.
Whatever it was you were on when you wrote this it has Coleridge-Taylor Xanadu beaten into a cocked hat. That's one heck of a big butterfly. Lol.

That's a lovely find. I've never seen a lagoon besides the movie Blue Lagoon. Well thought out poem. Nicely written. Good visual imagery. Great lyrical flow of rhythm and rhymes. Good author notes too. Enjoyable read.

that certainly is a great picture. I like the style of the poem and the repeated lines mirrored the reflection of the bridge. This sounds complicated but you have written a really pretty poem.
