The credit card elements of this story are hilarious.
There are so many things to like in a story of this nature. To be able to remain friends, despite all that is going on is amazing.
Well done.

Hi Marvin, thank you for your RR&R on this story, I only regret you didn't read when it was paying :( I'm glad you enjoyed the story. We've been friends since first grade and bonded over a crazy assed nun ;D Thanks again and have a great weekend!

Funny stuff, Mary. I knew it was you ,lol. Glad everything worked out in the end. What will the Marys get into in the future? I found one thing for you: Javelinas .

Take care,
Russell

Can I EVER tire of reading your mis-adventures?
Doubt it.
This whole scenario, funny as it is, is for me today...a chilling remineder of my last 2 weeks. Trying to re-model 2 bathrooms and have probably returned every item at least once plus all the credit card debacles with it.
OUCH, right along with you!

I hope not, I need reviewers! Been there done that on the remodeling...how brave of you to take on two at a time! We recently redid my husband's cousin's in California...1950's. Weekend trips with tools from AZ, and every time, we would find a need for a tool we didn't bring. Chaos! Good luck with your remodels...they are worth the frustration, usually :D

That darn Brunhilda needs to shut up and leave you alone:)

Okay, just read the really funny about your friend's 'lost' card - lol. Glad Bruni laughed!

Loved it. Thanks for sharing your hilarious story!

Hi Teresa, OMG, thank you for the SIX! Are you kidding, Brunhilda usually keeps me from getting too crazy. I probably owe her for getting me to age sixty fairly intact :D Thank you so much for this wonderfully funny review and that fabulous rating.

    Have an awesome week!

Wow.

It's a good thing you two are so close. I have relatives that, even with your wonderful deduction skills, would jail the offender first and ask questions later, even as I protested that I could explain.

Your escapades sound so much like my own. Crazy, all based on Murphy's law one way or another, but with much laughter.

I see no technical issues, but, then again, I'm not awake.

Funny, funny.

Hi Marla, LOL, I've known a few families like would do the same :D I'm sure we would have a few adventures to write about if we ever got together too! I so appreciate your continued interest and hilarious feedback. Always look forward to hearing from you. Have an excellent week!

I was completely exhausted after reading this. I am pleased you finally got the credit card snafoo fixed. Someone 'cloned' my care and took more than 80,000 pesos out of my account (approx. 3, 705 US) and the bank refused to refund me. I am still fighting with the bank...been nearly two years. You did a lovely job with the wedding. I am still glad my daughters practically eloped.

LOL, I understand how that would be exhausting for some. I get tired thinking about it. That is horrible about your breached card. I don't know how these people look at themselves in the mirror every day. Karma I hope prevails. Thanks so much for your RR&R!

All I would need is a comfy seat, a big bag of greasy popcorn, and, roll 'em! You could have a series dedicated to "Mary's Antics," an everyday person living an everyday life, but watch out for the unexpected and out of control. Great job. :-)

LOL, I hope that popcorn comes with lots of salt! I love your reviews and comments. You could be your own show, you realize, right? I'm glad you enjoyed this little adventure. Our husband's cringe when we get together. It usually involves unbelievable bargains that require their manpower to get off the trucks. Post wedding episode was a Klassy Kloset organization system we found at a garage sale...they considered burying us in it! Thank you, Ric!

Thanks for your kind words. I always enjoy your posts. Real, likable people, in real-to-life situations. It doesn't get any better than that. :-)

Hi Mary,

Another great write! Loved that you included the video clips of the wedding. It all turned out beautifully! Wow ... does your daughter ever look like you!! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Speaking of trees ... that Christmas tree was magnificent. Thanks for sharing the clips with us. Good picture of you and Kayla too!

LOL ... too funny that you not only USED your friend's credit card, but you also SHREDDED it as well! Only a true friend would take that in stride and even laugh about it.

I laughed at the picture you created of you doing 'the purple polka' trying to stem the flow whilst waiting for the credit card to be accepted. Once again, Bruni's wise-cracks delight this reader!

Loved "Emster's idea" ... again you endear yourself to your reader by saying something that we all relate well to. Most of us have 'nicknames' for those close to us.

Another exceptional write, and a great conclusion to your previous post. I have no suggestions for improvement.

Connie

Hi Connie, you are wonderful. What a great review and that wonderful SIX attached made my day. Thank you on the wedding, and that tree was $15 bucks at a garage sale...one of the prettiest I've seen. My daughter has it now :D I loved reading every bit of your feedback, and relish every thought of you delightful reactions to each story. Thank you so much for being a loyal and steadfast reviewer. They seem to be harder and harder to maintain on FS. Have a wonderful week, Connie. XO

That was so funny, but so dangerous too. How the shops allowed you to use a card without showing your identification, or checking the signature was allowed to happen, I don't know. If it had been stolen, it could have had disastrous results. But, that aside, I think you did an amazing job between you getting all that done in so short a time. I loved the video, it all looked lovely and what a beautiful bride. Congratulations on become a soon to be grandma!! :) Sandra xxx

Hello Sandra, and thank you for this wonderful review. Yes, it is frightening to think how far this was able to go without a clerk asking for id, especially when in both our cases, we have SEE ID written on the signature line instead of our "John Hancock's." You can't be too careful these days. Thank you on the wedding and the new arrival too, we are very excited for them after years of trying to conceive. Have a wonderful week!

Of course, I saw it coming. Somehow, some way, you ended up with your bestie's card. LOL. But did ya hafta shred it? (Been there, done that - don't ask.) Hey, another fine write - lookit that; not even any run-ons...*grin*

You knew you saw it coming. Technically, I didn't shred the card, my daughter did :D I'm so happy to have conquered the run-ons! I appreciate your RR&R, as always!
