A "SALUTE," Debbi! As I said earlier, "You're reading my work is an honor! Hugs and kisses from across the miles, Babee. Since I can remember, I have always been, friendly, flirty and flamboyant. My grandpa was too--Bless his heart. And Grandma used to beat his tail with a broom--"When he flirted with the lady down the road--Ouch!!" Did you get the Valentine's Card I sent you? Best wishes--"And God bless!"
    xx Bill

Hi Bill. No I don't think I got a Valentine's Day Card and it's alright! I would have my own way of dealing with your grandfather if I was his missus. Mainly he'd be too damn busy to flirt with old whats her name down the road. lol I believe I'm caught up now ... xx d

This is going to make a great movie, Darling. What a story, you really write your characters well, as if the readers are right there freezing with Billy. So cute how you grabbed your toboggan and lunch box and headed home, a strong-willed little boy you were, huh? I am presuming long handles are long-johns, never heard it called that before. You had a stove in your schoolhouse? - goodness sounds like "Little House on the prairie". This is a wonderful story, I loved it, and can't wait to see what happens next. ~Kerry

My nose and face were numbed by the freezing wind. I tried moving my arms, legs and the effort failed. "Please, help me someone," I screamed. No one answered. "I'm here by the snowdrift," I yelled. Why, can't you hear me? "What a waste," I thought. My freezing to death at age seven when I had planned much more. "Wait a second," I whispered. How could I be freezing when I felt so warm? I was tired! Maybe a nap is what I needed. Slowly closing my eyes, I drifted off to sleep. ' Certain death would seem logical?
Wonderful, I have enjoyed every chapter of this book immensely, well done kindest regards Meia :)

A "Salute!" To you, Meia. Coming from a commendable Arthur such as yourself, "your words touch my heart!" Glad you
are enjoying. Once I finish the twenty chapters, and we start shooting the movie, "I'll invite you to join me on the set. Would
you take a vacation to Dollywood? I'd introduce you to Dolly. She is a "whippersnapper!" Seems I remember telling you, she
and my late wife were best of friends. I think I told you, that I'm posting Chapter 7, "The Fire!" Within a week. Hope you join
    in, Meia. Best wishes, sweetheart.

Okay, Meia! We'll plan the movie set for the early fall, when the golden leaves tumble to the ground,
and the brisk wind, "kisses your face." And then, Dolly will sing you, "A Coat of many colors, my mamma made for me." Why! I bet she'll let you
wear it, "to keep you toasty warm!" Oh, yes! You
shall love Dolly, "for she's a trip." Best wishes,
beautiful. You used to model, huh? Wowwww!!

Hello, again, Junglefighter,

Good chapter, although backward. :P

I found a couple of typos: My dad being home too take charge so to speak, made my falling to sleep much easier (How about something like 'My dad, also home,). "Be sure and tell your parents, (no comma) that school will be out until further notice. [Also, make sure you do your own research when it comes to someone else editing unless they are a professional, which I'm not.)
I really liked these parts: Of course, my theatrics toward being head of the household had been a macho trip and I was walking in tall cotton. Of course, you knew that, didn't you? I remembered counting eight sheep as they jumped the picket fence. And I had watched the ninth one leap. Poor thing, I fell asleep before it landed, and left it suspended in midair. Oh, well, I'd get it down the next night. Cute!!

Okay, I'll wait for the next!

thank you for sharing this continuing story about Billy. I read this chapter before, but for some reason, I didn't comment on it. It reads well and we are left with the suspense of waiting for the next part. (I already read it, so I know that Billy is saved.)

Another well written part - looking forward to more,
~patty~

    Hi, beautiful!
So good hearing from you. Oh! You read chapter 6, huh? You are a "smarty-pants!" Goes to show what you know. Why, Billy found himself an older woman, (22, with curves like in a road) and she taught him all about "the birds and bees." And right before he turned eight-years old, he jerked her into his arms, kissed her lips, bit her tongue and said, "my God, you're beautiful!" She quickly pulled away, and then slapped his face. Ouch!!! Was all of that in there when you read it, Patty?? Of course, it wasn't! Best wishes for, "good health and happiness always."

    Hi, Leena!
It is an honor meeting you. Oh, I'm so disappointed! Know why? Because you haven't read, "Chapters 1, 2, and 3. Please, read them before you watch the movie. Read your Profile, "ABOUT!" How's everything in India, beautiful? W. Somerset Maugham's quote is awesome...and how true. As I write, "as a greeting," in each chapter of my book, "I invite you to join in, and my wish, is to make you laugh and cry, while leaving you in a state of uncertainty of what will happen next." I am posting Chapter 6, "I've found Billy," within the week. Hope you will enjoy. Best wishes for, "good health and happiness always."

    Respectfully,
    Bill

I love the complete story you have done here. I am looking forward to reading more. I wonder if you will be making the scripts as well or if they are going to be a happening and on the spot with production? Thanks for posting.

    Hi, Frierajac!!
It is an honor meeting you. I read your Profile, "ABOUT!" And I just love your new ideas for a rainy Spring. Golly-gee! What do you do in your spare time, beautiful? One thing is for certain, and that is, taking the time out to review my writing. A kiss on
your lips for that, sweetheart. Oh, yes! Are you married? No, I'll not be making the scripts. My cousin and I shall be meeting
at Pigeon Forge to discuss and arrange all of the details. I am however, asking my dear friend Dolly Parton to introduce the movie. I'm relocating back to the old home place, building a modern log cabin on the mountain side, and feeding all of my creatures while finishing up my other three books. A "Salute!" My dear friend. Best wishes for, "good health and happiness
    always."

A joy to read your story and I have felt freezing temperatures in France when I visited during January 2012 when we had -20C. I put a bottle of Coca-Cola outside and it froze solid in 15 minutes! You ate a very unusual breakfast, but you need good hot nourishing food in the cold I suppose. Love reading about your adventures Bill, have a great evening, love Dolly x

I have to ask why Billy took his toboggon to school but didn't use it in either direction? I like the scenario otherwise though.
helping hold my body helping TO hold
Reflecting back on what grandpa had told me to do, if lost in a snowstorm, I stopped abruptly behind a snowdrift, used my tin lunchbox to dig a hole for my lanky frame, hung the lunchbox from a forked limb as a marker for my body, jumped into the hole, and covered myself with snow with exception of my face.
This sentence needs to be broken down to several smaller sentences.
I tried moving my arms, legs and the effort failed.
I tried moving my arms and legs, BUT failed.
