A beautiful free verse, I can almost imagine riding that wind into time, where everything is carefree, and the trade winds blow for free...blessings...

Thanks for the five star review and your wonderful comments. It is always rewarding to create something that people can respond to, and that resonates in someone's soul. and takes on a life of its own, like those clouds flying off in the wind... estory

Thanks for the five star review and your encouraging comments. I wanted to create an effect of the freedom of the wind, its ability to take you just about anywhere, beyond borders and frontiers and boundaries. It is rewarding to get comments that validate that I achieved what I set out to do estory

I love this poem, it's full of freedom, imagination is boundless and it is so well expressed in these few, but poignant words, it is a winner for me, love Dolly x

An interesting free verse poem personifying the wind. Good use of alliteration with Places pinned to points. Very nicely done.

Blessings

Thanks for the five star review and your comments. in free verse, I think alliteration is a good tool to use in creating music. that was probably my favorite line as well; I think the p sounds really mimick that act of putting something in place, and I aim for that relationship between meaning and sound a lot. it is important to my work estory

Free verse that has a nice flowing rhythm. I have read your poem over several times and am having a difficult time grasping the meaning (my shortcoming I am sure) It seem your believe that everything is in flux and there is nothing stable to hang onto, I this is your philosopy then bravo you have accomplished what you have set out to do

Thanks for the stars and your insightful comments. this is a simple poem really, not very philosophical, about freedom of movement. I tried to create a sensation of place coming undone in the force of the wind, of opening out from deffinitions into the space of possibility. I don't know if its really a philosophy as much as a force of nature. part of human nature. we all yearn for escape from the routine, from the schedule, and a chance to dream and fulfill our dreams. estory

Excellent. I agree with you that free verse is the perfect place for a poem about movement. It is well written and I could find nothing to complain about. best of luck in the contest.
