Thank you Bill. I think I have said this to you before. I married into the Schott Family in Helotes Texas, They were some of the very first Ranchers in this area. Where are you?

Your poem is well written on a controversial topic. Pushing warming or cooling flip-flops back and forth depending on the current objective. No one wants our planet to die--it's the only one we have. World overpopulation and pollution caused by third world countries is the biggest threat. Get those countries on board and we may have a chance. Your last stanza is very good and points to the controversy. Marilyn

A very well-written storm poem. As in this minute we are experiencing a fierce thunder storm which triggered my daughter's car alarm and hit our electricity supply twice.

thank you Winnona, I was surprised by the ending myself. I thought it would be a doom piece in some way and then I realized how once the storm is over we sometimes forget the problem still exists

thank you so much, Yes what does one person do? I have no idea, but I also believe that we often forget the problem after we make it through a storm.

Yes, as an individual you wonder what you can do about it. But most of us do nothing and what can we do is the question. That is sad that we only think about it when we are scared.
