Thanks for sharing this with use, Pat, we often hear of children causing problems.when there are so many that have learned to share love and respect for people... it was a pleasure reading your story..I pray their lives will be forever Blessed...also their parents, as surely they were raised well.
i understand the pleasure that can come from thoughtful children...one of my past students, has just graduated from college, and is leaving to go to another state...he came to see me, and thanked me for making him a better student...I thanked him, saying, you did it yourself, and he did..
Its such a pleasure knowing this young man remembered me, as I always encouraged him to do better...These are the things that really matter..
I know you were pleased to be remembered in such a loving way.

I have two Young Ladies, not related, age 14 one of which has been writing me every week for two and a half years and the other one has been writing me for three and a half years and I have responded to them each week as well.
I have well documented binders filled with all the writings coming and going including our art work and poems, laughs and cries and in the end they will have a Treasure Chest Full of Life and to Know They Were Very Special In Someone's Life.

One of my daughter-in-laws is wonderful about teaching her
