I don't see you as an idiot - but someone in emotional pain. I have a degenerative disease and I know the sense of loss which pollutes every day. You have a lot of supportive people here. Thanks for your poem

I enjoyed your poem. Not everyone is happy. Not everyone wants to be happy. Some people just enjoy being miserable. It's a fact of life for some. I wouldn't say that just because you're retired and not working makes you an idiot. No more so than getting older does.
Let's face it, as we age so do our brains. We've packed a lifetime's worth of memories and information in our minds that we've acquired over the years.
Somethings are simply bound to fall out or be pushed out, eventually.

So, none of us is perfect, which is what your contest entry said only much more poetically than I did here in my review.

BOO loves this colorful expression. The colors are bright, what BOO needs on a dreary, rainy day. Sunshine. Nice COLOR COMBINATIONS matching the green eyes with the backdrop. perfect picture. Oh, free style. Hope you entered this beauty into the site's contest for free verse. BOO has flaws like mortals. Sometimes my moon-powered backpack is below the minimum requirements to shape-shift through walls. I often get stuck between walls when this happens. The window to the soul is the eye, I have often heard. OH, BOO is forgetful too. Must be an epidemic. I suppose hobbies like writing on fanstory could be classified as work. It takes oodles of time... that could be used for hard work. mental work is as hard as physical work. Hope BOO don't blow a fuse reviewing... he --he. well, you outdone yourself and good deeds do come full circle. BOO
