Bienvenue. Honest, humorous and spot on. I cringed watching the debates. Then when he actually won, I felt sick, seriously. All these people cheering him on as he blunders along are just as scary. The die is cast and let's see how he does. sigh. Justin Trudeau is such a refreshing difference with tolerance, humor and grace.... exactly what Trump lacks. Cheers, judester ps pack your mukluks

Very well written essay, Tom. I agree and disagree with some of your points, but the thing is you have written an unbiased opinion and I liked it. I usually do not comment on political or religious items on here, because of the flak it causes. Not worth it to me.
I do think everyone should vote. No matter what the choices are, we have that right and should use that privelege. Blessings, Bob

Very well written essay, Tom. I agree and disagree with some of your points, but the thing is you have written an unbiased opinion and I liked it. I usually do not comment on political or religious items on here, because of the flak it causes. Not worth it to me.

I do agree those are two topics to stay away from, especially if you want to keep your friends. I only wrote it because of the contest and some time away from my daily writing of my crime story, which I will soon start putting on fan story, which cost a lot to move up on the reading list. I do, however, think it's worth it for feedback

Very good on the political write, I know Hillary is a political liar and will say anything to get what she wants, Trump I can't say he's a liar, he's not been a politic yet.But who ever gets in we are in a world of hurt. Thanks for sharing the thoughts.

You see, there's something I don't get about the US and the Presidency and the supposed power that comes with office. the president can't really do much without backing from the other branches of government so all these promises are useless. Every president has succumbed to this.

This is the best political commentary I've read this whole season. You represent the frustrations of an entire nation over our choices for President, or lack thereof. I've always had a favorite in the race, and in this one, I just wish they could scrap them and start over. I'm not afraid that one or the other will be elected, but that either will. One way or the other, we're screwed!

I agree 1,000% with you. Our forefathers must be turning in their graves. Thank goodness our government has checks and balances, so neither one can't screw us too much (I hope)
