I am honestly in awe of the excellence displayed
in this month's ballot - to the point of pain, at having
to choose "a front runner".

Your poem totally swept me away with both its subject
matter and construction...held me completely captive
with its poetic finesse and compelling imagery.

Your opening lines
Here I am Lord, in the midst of the sea
for there is much unrighteousness in me-
immediately grabbed my attention, and the prayer
that followed felt both heartfelt and beseeching.

All I can say is - Great write!

This is beautiful poem of faith and transformation when one turns their life over to God for forgiveness. He does see beyond our faults and forgives us and helps us forgive others.

Reading your poem here i can see a lot of pain and regrets washing down. I love the sweet intonations and the faith in your lines. My fave one "Please touch me, dear Lord..." May God bless you.

This is a nicely written poetic prayer that shows a heart ready to take on faith that God can help and that the one praying is ready to take that belief wherever it takes
him/her.

I love those old lines ,"He looked beyond all my faults and saw my needs."
With all the 'noise' the world creates it is often difficult to maintain our focus on The Lord, and yet our hearts long every second for His presence.

A very well-written heartfelt inspiring poem/prayer. God is good and merciful to us, it doesn't matter how big and ugly our sins are, He will forgive us and forget about the past.

How beautiful, this is a very spiritual account written with the heart and soul that you clearly feel. It is in every syllable, line and can be felt through the entire piece.
An extremely rhythmic and well put together poem.
