Don't you know?" ... Sure you can. You must be able to or you wouldn't have said "most" have rhyme and some structure...

"My Muse involves photographs.
Do they also speak to you?
Don't you see?" ... Of course your photographs speak to me. A picture is worth a thousand words, you know? Besides, you know all too well how I feel about artwork, animations and photos paired with poetry.

I agree with your assessment in the notes - the form can appear ridiculous, and the end result COULD be ridiculous - but you come up with some rather thought-provoking questions. Indeed, who cares if people get bored with nature poems?!? I like the very personal tone of this quinzaine set. Carol

Free verse is poetry for dummies? It is feeling raw and unrefined that touches the heart, not syllable count...Very little emotion comes through metered poetry.. just vocabulary which in itself is not poetry. We have artists who touch the heart and those poets who rhyme without feeling. This is a response to notes...
