Simply loved the elegant and exhilarating style.
Starting every stanza with,
Oh! Is repetitive in an exciting and comforting way, took my breath away!
Oh!, Gardening is so rewarding, and very well stated as a reflection of God's bounty, and evidence of the many wonders that he has given US to nurture and enjoy.
Blessings,
Brother Badger

How wonderful Brother Badger to take the opportunity provided by a South Pacific Princess Cruise to connect with FanStory again, and read your exciting and very encouraging review. For I do hope to stay reconnected and renew my membership and hopes for the future before mid-year. However, it is near a year now since Challenge, Change, and New Life's potential destined my surrender to a turn of destiny that FanStory had delivered me to the door of! And, My Garden, I think now, was the final inspiration for powerful inner and underground growth. That, I feel, is destined to continue through this year. So! Oh! What a blessing for your empowerment! And, oh! How delightful vision of new FanStory flowerings as the higher meaning and purpose of my destiny burst forth to express and share the individual expressions and beauty of the more populated highways of life.

Greetings, and a special thank you. I shall enjoy turning to your site before connecting with other messages. By which time, I expect my Internet time and access will have gifted its energy towards the Challenge, Change, and New Life waiting for my return to Australia. Blessings of nurturance, joy, and beauty in the God Gifted Gardens of Earth, Maureen*&*

I look forward to seeing you then. In the meantime, here is my latest, "Sanzaru", (Three Monkeys)

    ~Mizaru~

    I will speak no evil,
    for to utter such
    might show my human flaw,
(by then I've said too much)

    But I learn
    to bite my tongue
    to starve my ear,
    and feed my lung

    ~Iwazaru~

    I will hear no evil,
    for there's evil all around
it is the type of which:
    does not make a sound

    Be sorely fearful of:
    the fowler and the snare
in the deep, of quiet night,
    pay heed and be aware

    ~Kikazaru~

    I will see no evil,
    for its ungodly sight
    For, to see,
    and not believe,
    is a precarious plight!

So as I fine tune my senses,
    this epiphany encounters me:
    (as the road unwinds behind)
in front is not all that I see
    Content that I can be:
    Here.
    Real.
    Now

This is a lovely write about the coming of spring in your garden Maureen, and I'm sure after the long, cold and wet winter you've had in southern parts you really are looking forward to Spring. Love the way you have started each line with - Oh! My garden - and all that it means to you.
cheers,
valda

Oh! How wonderful to find such a heart warming review of what seemed to be symbolizing hope and new life for me, which was not destined to be. Yet my outer garden flowered, as I accept, it possibly never will again. Moreover, before the New Year and, hopefully a new view of life for me, my garden could look, as I feel, without the love and care, to retrieve another spring of hope.

Yet I am blest, knowing God has already allowed me to let go of past expectations and hopes that have allowed the nourishment, friendship and joy of just doing a few choice reviews, gifting my sixes for the selected meaning and beauty for me alone. And, to do that today, now 3.50am Saturday, I need to share as far I as I am gifted to go on FanStory for the foreseeable future. This night as I hope for a family phone call may be my last connection, without time or need to say a final general goodbye to FanStory, and the nourishment, creativity and support that will always bless and empower my journey into eternity. Yet, in worldly reality the future God wills for me, empower my letting go, and strengthen me to embrace the unknown ahead.

They also define my Way, God's Way in relation to FanStory. So, thanks, I am truly blest by the courage and strength gifted in Holy Communion with you. Bless you, I will be back, maybe early next year without officially letting go, but today I accept I stand again at the base camp of NEVER-REST! A concept that I felt in a Chakra balancing workshop, a synchronistic gift of a very different life journey around Byron Bay before the turn of this millennium! And, I must set off looking up in faith alone - having let my family and everybody know what they will never understand I journey `The Road Less Travelled' or bonded into worldly reality alone. Thank you, for being the channel of Christ for me, gifting the Word and light I need to see, my blessings of gratitude for courage and a sense of adventure anew. Maureen*&*

Hi Maureen, sorry it has taken me a while to have a read of this most enjoyable read (I'm out of town at the moment). I really did enjoy the upbeat and positive nature of this poem. It allowed me to reflect on how energizing and satisfying spending time nuturing one's garden can be. I did, however, wonder why you repeated the first four stanzas again to make it eight.
Thank you for sharing this joyous read. ~DD

Hi DD, thanks. First I must ask which town is town for you? And are you holidaying? Next week is senior?s week in Victoria. And, I like to take a couple of train trips into the countryside, should be very green at present. A busy week is planned, and looks to continue until the end of the year.

Because of that I wasn?t intending to post another poem, as I value time to grow with my new growth poems; and really value the reviewing correspondence at his time. Then MY GARDEN inspired me; and I wanted another go at mastering colours. Still a challenge, but I actually got new helpful message on the way, and was able to edit and preview and change several times, without getting stuck in a black hole, or mid air; therefore, I was happy and posted it. Not intending to promote it as I wanted to use my week to read, review and catch up.

As with colours on my previous poem, I discovered the error next morning! But I had four reviews, so I was content to just leave it be and see what my reviews said. It was a lovely garden, and not able to use my kitchen for most of the previous week; because having changed the washer, a really nice plumber, had left me with a leak into the packed cupboard below. And, discovering the mess two days later, I?d had to move everything out into my little busy kitchen, clean up, and ring up Housing Commission. That was OK ringing them to get taps fixed after my holidays, I had my first Human service, after years of regular and repeated bullying and abuse! Worse than any domestic or school violence, because it?ll just make it worse until a Royal Commission forty years hense!

Anyway, having spent all day Friday, and Saturday morning waiting, for I was sure the nice guy, would come; I sat in my lovely garden to write review on a lovely Monday morning expectantly, and began my reviews. No plumber, an hour?s abuse and excuses from the HC telling me lies, and wanting me to wait at home for another week! Eventually I got assurance that they would request the guy return in the day ? but they could not say he would phone, preferably when on his way, but certainly rather than just putting a card in the letter box ? if he knocks but I?m in the loo or concentrating in my bedroom and don?t hear!

Suddenly it seems my poem was a medium for my destiny, and it unfolded a new story over the next few hours completing my reviews. Three in the afternoon the plumber returned, he?d only got notice after they rang me, and could not put me off another week ? as the Grand Final is on Friday! He had worked in the country on Friday, had not known let alone put a card in my letter box as I was told; and as I believed would have popped in Saturday morning, if asked to return. The original request was put down as emergency although that was leaking into my sink ? this into mu cupboard took a week! And, then because they try to pass the book to contractors they use as slaves for a wage their coordinating office adds another layer of abuse. And in this day of mobiles, there is no excuse; but could they even promise, the guy would ring if I did not hear or see them. So, sad because in my experience the individual contractors will go out of their way to actually give a human service.

By that time, this pure gift of poetry, had already blossomed, and magically doubled over night (after I?d spent so much time, hopefully getting the hang of colors). It had already received two of those special starry blessings, and only one mention, a commendation of its doubling, plus inspired me through a big day. I felt it deserved promotion, if only so its fading blessings will continue to bless me through a very busy week; another, and possibly another.

In any case, I had decided in its uniqueness this little surprise ditty works. It wasn?t a conscious choice, and unlikely to happen again (more unlikely than colours that don?t turn out as I have in mind). And promotion was energized by the hope some of you who support my journey would comment, adding detail, individuality, and memories for this surprise gift on my journey in time.

    Thanks again, dear friend, Maureen*&*

Thank you, and my garden and inspiration this spring; rather late following a cold winter, but following extra time to mature underground, and good rains, a pure delight. Thanks for reinforcing the attribute of meter. I am learning with the gifts, and FanStory?s wonderful blessings. Enjoy a great week, Maureen*&*

Hi Maureen. This is a lovely and well written poem. Gardens are metaphors and a great source of spirituality and comfort. As a matter of fact, I worked in my yesterday, getting it ready for our winter.

I am curious as to why you repeated the poem for a second time. Is there a reason for that, or am I missing something? Nevertheless, an excellent poem that I enjoyed reading. Marilyn

Thanks Marilyn, this poem was pure inspiration and joy of my garden looking the best ever; and yes it is a very apt metaphor of my journey through winter, and sudden liberation to glorious new life. A life full of surprises; and the challenges of change, and quickening new growth, destined and orchestrated by the invisible vision of God. New growth and hope of changing reality ongoing Housing Commission abuse under the label of Human Services! This has added powerful fertilizer; once again, in repeated doses, to my growth, strength and ability to flower in my own life since Easter; plus maintain and enjoy my garden. And, it actually inspired potential new writing while I sat enjoying it and answering my first review! By four in the afternoon both story and issue concluded intertwined into a new bud ready to welcome more rain. By that time this pure gift of poetry, had already blossomed, and magically doubled over night (after I?d spent so much time, hopefully getting the hang of colours). As the garden is cared for, and produces it's fruit, so is life. A poem well done in rhyme and verse. Using the "Oh, my garden...." as the first sentence of each stanza, was a clever idea. I loved it.

` Thank you! I?m totally feeling the exuberance of `Oh! my garden?.

I was sitting in it, grateful for a lovely spring morning, waiting for Housing Commission plumbers to arrive! Two hours later I?m back inside, needing to sit with my door open for a fourth day: waiting, alert, listening! Hoping, I will hear if any one knocks; before putting a card in my post box, to say `he called and just walked away?, justifying his pay. Because the Housing Commission needs to feed off us all!

Thus making my home and garden so precious for my sense of destiny ? nurturing spring from political gossip of egotistic bureaucratic heads who excuse their abuse of me, our economy, creativity, and more and more humanity; as their life engulfing corporate bellies expand on the slavery of all increasingly living in fear of loosing insecure jobs!

Thank you, for reinforcing my transcendence, and hope for empowering change; even getting a phone call rather than a card stuffed in my box - while I wait busily with an open front door. My frustration and adrenaline settled before moving inside for the day, with the help of Christ and a passer by who stopped to admire my garden on her way to the doctors. Such was the miraculous healing of Christ for me ? in our world of human servicing way, way past Orwell?s 1984, and life on any happy animal farm! Unable to use a mobile phone, they can only leave droppings by my door!

Have a great week! I shall! Whether or not I can use my kitchen for another week, because I?m in the city the next three days. And Friday is a public holiday before the Grand Final the great fight and splurge of our human year! Humorous or not I smile. A special thanks, Maureen*&*?

Hi Terry, I believe that is true, and God is supporting and empowering us to do that in quite a miraculous way. A way depicted in this attachment I hope will make you smile, as I may not get around to a proper story. It was inspired when I sat in my front garden waiting for a plumber. I had just started to respond to my first review ? and continued two hours later.

Thank you, my friend, read no further, unless God inspires you to see it as Christ miraculous healing, and potential supporting new potential from the humus on the Way of each day. Blessings, Maureen*&*

A very well-written beautiful and spiritual poem. We can always find God in a beautiful garden on earth and in heaven it take a lot of effort to keep a garden clean, tidy and beautiful.

Thank you so much Sandra, this poem was a special inspiration of God?s gardening, and mine; and all works of love, co-creative productivity and joy.

Sadly I can also find my self! Battered by Housing Commission abuse in mine! Really sad this morning when I sat breathing its supreme beauty this spring, just beginning to respond to these reviews. Now mid afternoon, I continue, able to relax - following the return of a plumber who changed my leaking tap ten days ago, and left a leak into the cupboard underneath!

I love my home, and garden, that passers by and the community love and admire too. But, it was a Housing Commission slum of neglect when I arrived; and sadly, there is no humanity in our Australian bureaucracies. Public antiquities that, as in Orwell?s 1984, call themselves human services: a concept of the ancient head of fattening bureaucratic corporation that feeds on the increasing wage slavery or dependencies of all!

Such is the privilege of challenge, change and creation of new life on the Way of Christ for me, footsteps never easy to follow; especially as hope of The Golden Harvest is diminished with the increasing threats of survival of all love, beauty and God?s Garden on Earth. My blessings of gratitude and healing, Maureen*&*

Oh your poem was just a pleasant to read -- all of its metaphors and joys. The repetition works fine in this poem to enhance your poetic message.

Thank you, this inspiration has become a gift of special significance and adventure through my day. And, much of it captured in writing responses to for precious reviews, which have inspired me from 9am until now 4pm ? if you care to read. Maybe the nucleus of a different posting, but we?ll see. I intended to move forward without promoting this, but now as I wish to build on its joys and metaphors ? a special thanks ? I think I?ll promote it and flower with its beauty as I refocus my week.

Thank you so much also, for your comment on the repetition. A singular comment that encourages me to promote it as it is! My garden, and God?s is full of surprises, I was so busy ensuring the colors came out right; when finally achieved confidently, and expectantly, I was just thrilled to share its spontaneity, delight, and surprise! Reading it before my reviews, I must say it was a surprise to find it had doubled over night! Quite magical gardens! Challenge too; but never dull!

    My blessings, Maureen*&*
