This a great reminder of what we have lost and what we should always remember.
Your words are inspiring. I could sense your tears.

This expresses the sentiments of a lot of Americans. Then we have athletes, making lots of money, and refusing to show respect for the flag. It makes me sick.

Thank you, Judy, for your RR&R of my 9/11 piece. I couldn't agree more. Too bad there aren't more Pat Tillman's than Colin Kaepernick's in the world, and this country. Have a great evening, Judy.

Mary,

I appreciate you sharing this piece that you wrote a few years ago.
Certainly it is fitting to share on this 15th anniversary of the 9/11
tragedy. You did a great job of writing about your personal experience
at the time and also how it effected others and our entire country.

May we all wake up and "Honor. Defend. Protect the homeland"

Thank you sending this out to us,
Linda

None of us will ever forget where we were that day.
I too stayed glued to the TV for days, maybe weeks, trying to grasp some understanding of why it happened.
Then we went to war and here we are fifteen years later, still at war.

Thank you, Ellen, for your read and review. It was a horrific time. We live near an Air Force base and the F16's screaming over us throughout the night in the weeks following 9/11 was something I also remember as I layed awake simply overwhelmed with it all.

An excellent shared piece. I know where I was and thought it was a movie I woke up to till I realized my movie was on all channels.
Very well done. We dare not forget

This event sure changed our world, not to mention most individual's awareness of new forces unleased. Excellent use of detail (hot coffee spilling) to let us know your alarmed reaction.

This work has reached the exceptional level

What a terrible day in In american history...what a terrible day worldwide. How any human could condone this atrocity and stand behind religion as their mantra is beyond me Today in America is the 15th anniversary of this catastrophe. You have captured this solemn day both poignantly and sadly

RIP To those lives lost

No, we can never forget. I do not know anyone that does not remember exactly where they were when this horrific event occurred. I was sitting at the breakfast table when my friend called me in Seattle from Houston, Texas telling me to turn on the TV. I cannot describe the shock of watching the second plane hit the tower. I was glued to the screen for days. I could not eat or sleep. It is so hard to believe that fifteen years have passed since that day. This is Written with tremendous emotion and passion.

Powerful piece. We cannot forget. We all remember where we were and how we heard about it. I was in New York STate in a forest on a camping trip and another camper told us. We rushed to my cousin's house in PA and watched the news. At that time they were still showing the raw footage of people jumping out windows. I'll never forget it. And we should not forget. To think that idiot Hillary want to being 500,000 Islamic men to our country! We are so doomed.
