Anyone who likes a dog that much is okay by me - LOL. I enjoyed your notes, but the senryu is a hoot too -easily pictured and a satori that's very clever. I'm glad I stopped by! I want to be reading more of your work in future! (I am always so far behind - my only excuse for being so negligent.)

Reminds me of dog-sitting my sister's toy Yorkie.
He's about seven inches tall, weighs seven pounds.
I'm six-six, weigh in at a shade under a ton.
When I walk Buddy, the neighbors come out on their
porches to watch the caterpillar walk the fat giraffe.
And he pulls me around.

Yes, Lee, it is embarrassing. I get the same looks from my neighbors, too, when I walk my Chihuahua, but Mina gets all of the attention. Thank you for your review.

How true this is!
I liked the image-- a man being pulled along by an eager dog.
Reminds me that as we age we do reverse roles. Those we took care of now look after us!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Susan, for be the ninety-sixth and final reviewer of my poem before my certificate expired but after my poem won second place and $ in the Senryu contest. My poem about role reversals between dogs and people has been a wild ride for us, and it all started from our walks. Once again, thank you for reviewing my poem.

Dogs love walks and they can be a handful at times. Thankfully, when I had my dog she wasn't too bad to walk but I do know people who have struggled walking their dogs. I bet your dog is just excited to be outside. Great job

Yes, my dog is just excited to be outside, and when our poem placed second in the Senryu contest, I shared my excitement with her by giving her praise from FanStorians who called her the world's first Chihuahua poet. I am thrilled that reviewers, most of them dog owners or dog lovers, understood and enjoyed my poem. Thank you for your review.

My terrier mix thinks he's in charge o f our walks. What he doesn't sniff, he pees on. I've no problem with it, everyone needs to be boss of something. Your poem created a word picture of a loving master and his assertive pet.

Dogs seems to enjoy nature, the way they sniff around and enjoy the smells. Great thought about role reversal. When you see someone out walking a dog, it looks like the dog is actually leading. In your poem, the dog's giving his owner a run for his money, so to speak. Cleverly done. judi

A great poem that is so true. At least when it's autumn you don't mind it as much, in the summer it can be brutal. I liked you choice of picture as well. This is a really interesting interpretation of a someone walking their dog. Good stuff.
