The imagery in this defines you both as a dancer and a lover of dance! "tossing bright rainbows through the air" is alive with a sense of graceful movement. Much enjoyed!

Dancing is a fantastic way to escape the stresses and cares of everyday life. That being said, the words of your poem are expressive and create strong images. Thanks for sharing this fine piece.
Wishing you all the best...

The verbs, dancing, swirling, tossing provide a lot of movement--just as a dance would have. The imagery of both dance and autumn are also well done. A lot to accomplish in such a short poem. Well done and best wishes in the contest, my friend~Debbie

Your cinquain and the accompanying, striking artwork capture dance's sense of freedom. The "swirling...autumn leaves" image is quite vivid and is reinforced by the picture. Best wishes in the contest- Joan

I love the imagery in your Cinquain.
Each line offers the reader an experience
of color and movement, much like
dancing.
Beautiful presentation.

A nice cinquain poem. There is freedom in dancing with they rhythm of the music reaching to the inner soul. A poem very well done. I liked it.

I love watching dance and always wanted to but I'm horribly clumsy. I see two pictures in my mind when reading your poem. One is of a dancer dancing outdoors with long colorful ribbons. But I also can visualize it as a light swirling wind on an autumn day as it dances trough the dry fallen leaves.
