I'm so glad Sandra told me about this inspiring poem. The world is in such a mess at the moment, we all need to be reminded that faith will see us through in the end.
Well done!

A poem filled with hope that we can turn things around. If only we could. Right now, this is worse than I have ever seen in my long life. It's exactly as you say right here:
Evil spreads across the land
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide
_________
Faith brings unity, wars will cease
The problem here is that "faith" for so many in the world is not directed toward the Lamb, but to evil religions, namely Islam, whose stated goal in their Koran, which I have read, is to either convert or kill all infidels, those who do not share THEIR faith. They've been cutting the heads off Christians for months. They are not going to be won over. THere can be no peace till they are destroyed.

Phyllis, Thanks so much for reading. I agree with you, the black scourge must be wiped from the face of the world. They don't recognise the Lamb of God. Bless you, Kay.

We all wish for a peaceful world. Faith itself won't cause peace, maybe inner peace.
But if all act on faith and don't just sit around than maybe it will happen. I think first we have to have to have all religions working together instead of against each other before we have world peace.
Good luck and keep writing

Someday, someday, peace will abound, but only after the Lord returns. This land and all lands need repair. Peoples hearts need to be changed, and look beyond themselves. I don't think I have ever seen a more spoiled bunch of human beings than those that are living today. God help us all. Enjoyed your words and the read.

A very well-written faith and uplifting poem. Despite all the evil in the world we still have peace and hope in our hearts that 'The Lamb' will come to save us from evil and we will all live in peace for eternity.

Lovely poem, Kay. Hope that the leaders of these countries come to feel a community of interest through the globalism that occupies almost all of us today. Jesus hand is always welcome where a community of interest is present. Regards and love - Alan.

With the mess this world is in, I wonder how much longer it will be before the Lamb of God comes and puts things straight. I am ready for His return. Patricia
BTW (popary) should be popery according to the dictionary.
