I didn't know the details of the Fatima story. Thank you for sharing them! I think I'd rather trust the faith of a child. It's so much purer than that of adults. Didn't our Lord tell us to come to him like little children?

An exceptional poem. It flowed beautifully and you have described the miracle of Fatima perfectly, even those not familiar with it would now have a very clear picture of the event. Your author's notes were great, a very clear explanation of the inspiration for your work.
The world is certainly a very complex place right now, with so much pain and suffering, like you I imagine what could be achieved if grownups (particularly those who purport to be leaders) just tried. Good luck with the competition.

A beautifully written account of the appearances and revelations at Fatima. The way that the story is told keeps its magic and suspense, and draws us along identifying with both the children and the uncomprehending crowd.

Hello, nice to meet you in this lovely work. I think most people that have no faith, always mock people that do. But, there comes a point where you realize they are determined not to get it and that's when I switch off.
You have a lovely sense of rhyme and rhythm that you sustain throughout the work and I have no suggestions for improvement. I am Jewish, but I believe that Yeshua was the Messiah, so I am a Messianic Jew, but my sister/aunt (its complicated) married a Catholic and her children have been brought up as Catholics, not Jews. And we are about to have our first Muslim wedding in the family. So, people of all faiths can get on, we are proof of that. The day of Atonement has just past ... it is our holiest day and we fast and pray that we will live and prosper into another year. But for me, I can thank God every day for the atoning blood of Christ, and I was very aware of that as we spent the day together on this years Day of Atonement.
I think the story in your poem is very healing and uplifting and I will certainly join with you in that prayer for peace.
