I loved you cute little minute poem. And I agree totally! I wrote my first one today. To try and make good sense of a chopped up words is a real challenge. I wonder what people would think if we all started talking this way. haha Your poem was humorous and REALLY gave a message.

Ha ha...love this...minute poem fails....sorta like my attempts at cooking 'minute rice'....which your picture reminded me of....I think this is quite clever though...I like it....blessings....

Why do we put self imposed limits on creativity. I thought poetry was supposed to express freedom. I recently wrote a poem that had been kicking around in my head for two days. I wrote the poem, ("Why I Write")
I wondered if FanStory had a category for it. I looked and found one.
I think this is a far better way to write.

That's the way I felt, but it was fun. Always is when you challenge yourself don't you think? I enjoyed your Minute poem. Imagine my surprise when it dawned on me that the 60 syllables are the sixty seconds in a minute. Duhhhhh. ha ha.

No failure here, you know you're good when what you think is a mistake turns out to be a masterpiece. See when you are good you don't need luck. Then there is the guy who is good and he knows it, but he pretends that he is so humble that he does not realize how good he is. That is until someone tells him that he is no good then he forgets his earlier pose and he stands up and say with true conviction, "Hey there. don't you realize I'm a gosh darn genius?!" LOL. I enjoyed your humorous write.
