I have not read them all. But your story so far is the best written. I thought I had a chance to place, until I read yours. I will work on mine and tweak my story. I bet on one in this contest is going to you. Thanks for allowing me to read your great story from the Susie writing prompt contest.

I have tears in my eyes. Dogs are the best. I miss my dog something awful. I'm told when I get a house I can get two puppies, I told my husband I'd hide the third and fourth puppies then. I liked how you did this from the dogs point of view. I wonder what my dog thought of all those years

Interesting tale...good luck in the contest...I invented this contest because I have a dog named Susie and she's just like what I said I wanted in the story....

Overall this is a good story. I like the present part just for Susie to get her way. The word only in the third paragraph is spelled wrong. It happens to me too. Also to me Susie shouldn't be that old. I don't expect a dog to live like 18+ years. I get it's a story, but I want it to be more every day life like and it just doesn't feel that way with the age. I did look up and there was a dog that lived to 29, but that's a rare thing. I guess Susie is like that, but it still doesn't sit too well with me with her age. Still overall good story.

I like this story, but I did find a few errors. There were a few spelling errors...also, if "mom" or "dad" is the name like Dad, it should be capitalized, but if it is just "my dad", it should be lowercase. Thanks for letting me read this!
