You love this stuff, don't you. LOL
Thanks so much. :)) It's just a story of course, I'd never actually DO any of this stuff. Well, my garden needs tending.... mikey

I heard your vegetables are delicious and a pretty good size. What kind of fertilizer are you using?
LoL Good story, Mike, I enjoyed. You are right, I love everything that has to do with horror and suspense. *Gypsy Mwahs and squeezes*

This one definitely grabs the reader. The character sounds sick in the head and we are supposing is doing all that is written. Will catch the attention of many.

Thanks so much. Pleased you enjoyed. We have a couple get togethers on Saturday and Sunday if you're interested. Sunday is prose at 3 PM Eastern Time in the Challenges Forum. Just a little prose writing challenge and we all review each others pieces. Here's the modest ad for our poetry one on Saturday.
WAKE UP CHILDREN! IT'S POTLATCH TIME!
All are invited today in the Challenges forum at 6 PM Eastern Standard Time. That's New York Time or FanStory Time.
We're all writing minute poems and the topic is ... well, WE DON'T KNOW!
Phyllis will announce the topic at exactly 6 PM Eastern Standard Time and then
we'll all start writing and posting. First one finished wins the prize!
Prize? Yep, the adulation of the masses. Believe me, IT IS GOOD!
Remember, if you can't make it on time, anytime is fine. You can't be late and we
want EVERYONE to give it a try. We promise niceness to all who participate!
LOL, mikey

Whoa! I tell you, Michael, you really have a way with words. GOOD luck contest today. You described women in diary with vivid colorful words. Indeed, you added a touch of humor and made comical statements. View mine also. WELL

OH my goodness, you are finally back. Don't get me wrong, I like the love poems and the thought of warm bath, wine, deep voice, candels... but I love your scary things and I have missed them.
I'm ready to read.

Excellent graphics with the garden, write and kill. It's clear which of the three activities is feeding the other two.
By the looks of the picture, those flower beds are being well fertilized.
I really enjoy your opening referencing the journal. Now we know we are going to be given privy to the most intimate thoughts and experiences of a serial killer.
How nice, that he began his spree with a woman it seemed may have rejected him in high school or something.
The killer's incredible ruthlessness shown with the murder of an innocent child.
And all ending or beginning with a sick twisted fascination with young girls.
An excellent Grab me, Read me entry to the contest.
I wish you all the best Mav.
Ange.

Love your observation, Ange. Yes, the garden is well fertilized. LOL! Wow. Sounds like I hit all the bases. I'm delighted you think so. Of course, this is all made up. I was NEVER rejected in high school and harbor no ill will towards any stuck up bitch who thought she was too good for me. You know what a peaceful sweetheart I am. :))
Thanks a bunch, Ange. We'll see how it does.

Very well-written and scared me a little. I think I know now why the neighbors garden looks so beautiful, while mine is quite dull and not much grows here. Lol.

This guy's diary puts new meaning to 'how does your garden grow' and he's not even writing poetry. haha
Creepy personality comes through. I can see his glare and he isn't very tidy after a kill--there's bloody fingerprints on his diary's pages.
He's so deranged that he kills for variety. Acquaintances, strangers and any age.
He must live on several acres if he's planting so many. I'm beginning to see his isolation.
You have a full character in only 241 words. Need I say more?
Best of luck in the contest!!

Yeah, it's a lovely garden with beautiful flowers. A lot of work, but it takes work ... well, I'm guessing that's what the character would say anyway. :))
Thanks so much. I entered with about five minutes to go, so we'll see. LOL mikey

Sometimes that's how it is when a good idea pops into your head.

LOL! Well, I can't really figure what the warnings are about, but as I'm getting to know you better, I'm guessing it might be as much for what's bubbling in your brain than what you've wrote. Thanks for another fun read. :-)

What an opening! I was actually sorry to get to the end. I was certainly grabbed and it made me want to read, but thrilled? Not really. There were promises of thrills and I think that's quite good enough for openers, which is all this purports to be.
For the record, I think your warnings were a good idea. Do we actually lose potential reviews as a result of warnings. Are there really people out there who say "Ah, warnings! I will leave that out"? If so, how do they manage to live with their curiosity? I know I couldn't.
