This is just too koooool.
I really like it a lot
You definitely have the writer's knack.
Your poems flow nicely. Your stories are never boring and I just want to read more and more.
You are an excellent writer. One day I know you will be published OUT FOR THE ENTIRE world to see....and maybe translated into other languages at that.
It is easier to publish paperbacks than hard backs....Some paperbacks are nicely done....bigger sizes perhaps.....
LOOKING GOOD.....

Hi Judy
You really captured the essence of a highly passioned performer. I love how you 'c' alliteration reveals your mania for this 'spot of writing. lol A great metaphor showing the training, drive and ambition of one who likes to compete and excel. Perfectly smooth flow which is often not the case in an acrostic. You've really captured the essence of your/our addiction. Well done. Congratulations for winning the contest and setting a great example for the Potlatch challenge, I didn't have a chance to read and vote. Yahoo for you!! Hugs - Lovi xoxo

In my opinion, an excellent free verse poem - I cannot intelligently address the acrostic aspect, because I am ignorant in this regard, but I know what I like and I like this poem - it touched me...

This is the best acrostic poem I've seen in a long- long- long- time. You stuck to the same theme, added touches of your own, especially the next to the last line and made it your own. Wonderful. I can see why you're the champ. Hope this one is in a competition. If so- good luck.

I enjoy the comparison to the effort that it takes to cross that finish line, which really could be applied to so many other things in life. For me, personally, it was a bit of a hard read. The first time I read it (yesterday) I didn't like it at all and thus I didn't write a review. Upon reading it for fourth time I can find the wonderful rhythm in your work.

Thank you so much. I sing opera which is also an acquired taste. I don't always like the opera the first time I hear it but later I get it. Thank you for re reading.
