Well done. First of all do like the clever use of mono-rhyme throughout. Good job. This poem prompts food for thought. I do believe there are those writers who enjoy goading other through their posts. If something is overtly controversial, I usually skip over it. So I thought I would put together something with a message , but tried to keep it lighthearted, except for the image I thought the dog and the pen together represented my meaning well. Well, my work is rarely ever viewed as prodigious or ambitious, Chrissy, but a lot of the rest of the words in your mono-rhyme masterpiece here might apply to it.
Still, I think your is a lot of both, and it coveys a very positive message will would all do well to heed.

Nice rhyming, through and through. Picture's kinda' scary though...

Hi Dean, thanks for your review and feedback and yes the image is a bit scary, but I thought it apt for my verse as The dog and the Pen seemed to make me think of that old saying ' The pen is mightier than the sword' I was a bit hesitant to use this image but thought here goes. Hi c lucas. Many thanks for reading my poem, and it was also intended for writers of both prose or poetry that vent their vicious opinions with intent to be hurtful and upset many readers. Be nice and tolerant is the way to go. Certainly express an opinion but do so with finess and class. Cheers so much for your comments Christine😃 My authors notes should help LOL

You just said a mouthful lol! I don't understand why people write vicious poetry. I try to put my best poetry efforts out there. Mostly to inspire myself I guess. I couldn't see myself sending a vicious piece of writing or a rant to a contest in the real world or to a publisher. So I don't see the sense of posting anything like that on this site. Thanks for sharing this message and adding these fun words in there to lighten the mood :)

Hi Jackie, Yes I must admit it is a bit strong, but I am a little over reading some poems and or posts that are quite nasty and I know people are entitled to their opinion, all well and good as long it is not offensive to the ordinary reader. Also some reviewers can be very harsh and often unfounded in their comments. I try to be constructive and for most part love this site and the great people who are genuine and pleasant and write such fabulous things. Many Cheers for you comments. Christine 😃
