Oh, meant to comment on this earlier....They make a lovely couple and someone is a good photographer.that snapped a photo the appropriate time...the excitement .. I can just feel it & a good memory for a young couple to cherish....Surprised .I, too have a Maddy who I know . That is her nickname for Madeline...my granddaughter... And shes only 13 & a half And an unusual name here in America for a girl spelled exactly as your wife's niece. Though that's what her parents call her and even spelling it the same way & it has caught on to the rest of the family knowing her as such....Sad, though my husband & I haven't seen all that much of her over the years being she only lives about an hour & an a half a ways. & she has a little sister now too. Her and family live in the capitol city of Illinois. ...Hopefully, you & your wife can attend Maddy & Ben's wedding.

Hi Caressa. They took the photo themselves with a Mobile or as you call them, Cell phone. The picture on the poem is one I corrected removing some excess lighting. Thanks for the lovely review. have a feeling the rewards have run out sorry. Maddy is Madeline too.Pray for them. I have learned they will live with her family until they can get enough for a house of their own. Pray for her dad as well we believe he is softening to things of God.

Thanks Sis. Funny thing is I posted the poem on Face book with the same picture. Ben loved it and "Liked" what I did. have not had a word from Maddy. pray for these. She is a Harry Potter fan and I cannot see how a born again believer can be enamoured with Harry Potter.

This poem achieves what it set out to achieve. It's upbeat rhythm is perfectly in keeping with its celebratory intention. There's also some wit in the fourth line and some apt unforced rhyme in the poem as a whole. Thanks for sharing it with us. Nigel.

Engagement party will be soon and the wedding is in June. One of the shortest engagements I have ever known. Fact is though they have been going together for YEARS so a short engagement not a surprise. He is a Missionary kid and our Niece is the only one in her family born again. Thanks for coming by.
