Michael: this is probably the best poem you've ever written. It took me back to the 1960's. Yes, the world is most full of ordinary people, each with his/her own special gift. Then there are those ignorant (not necessarily stupid) folks who spout off about nothing, their ignorance wrapping them up in a tidy package. I'm waiting for your autograph . . . Soft Thunder

HI Michael, different strokes for different folks sweetie...so on and so on....I am for saying some people can do something's better than me...but I can do something's better then others...everyone has different talents...but none is measured higher than the next...and yes some people believe there talents override others...but in reality we all put or pants on the same way...no ones talent takes priority over the next ones...it's just different...very well said...truly in your own unique words...know this song from way back when...love ya Linda xxoo

Hi Sugar plum no...no...ah...yes...everyone has gifts. some are in fact more gifted in certain come easy. but ...all have something to say. for some the saying comes natural melody...for others the song is coaxed, cooed in testing trust of its own sound....and we got to live together... so understanding all have experience worthy of orchestration becomes necessary for the survival of any community....is what I was OBVIOUSLY saying....-smile-....okay this has been a disappointing outing thus far...it was a hard song to write for...gimmie a break will ya. love you Michael

and you just said what I said...that some are more gifted than others...but all say it different...different strokes for different folks...but when it comes down to it...we all have to live together...same thing I was saying...only different...but in the end it means the same...no matter what the hail one talent has over the others...were all going to have to respect and live together...and all talents make the world go round....making it a better place to all live together...I think...love back Linda

Thank you for the salute to us--"everyday people". I enjoyed your focus on the "noise," "like singing in off key voices" and our "colorful choices". Yes, "give a hug a home"! Hugs galore- Joan

Right...alright J...you get it. if we were all the same we'd bore ourselves to death. Eclectic is larger than plain old Jane and you cant fill a playground with fun without everyone. love you Michael

Dear Michael, I don't quite understand what you are saying here, sort of naive in many things. Anyway, I like the poetic justice line. I wish you the best, dear friend.

I'm not even sure what to say about this one, Michael.. you know I love you...

You specifically use MY old username and my husband's name... I don't really go for coincidences, so I don't even know what to think about that. But I"ll have to choose to think that it's just a thing.

I guess I'll just move along move along and just think it has nothing to do with me, until someone tells me that it does. :/

Have a good night, Michael. hugs
Cat

I have estimates out there it shouldn;t be much longer...I'm sorry...-smile- loveyou-
reply by I am Cat on 09-Feb-2016
I know... that's where I got the username... I made it up after writing a poem entitled "Poetic, just is." LOL
ah... so there ARE coincidences! LOl

what do you mean you made up ...uh huh...no...nope....I rubbed my belly....-smile-
reply by I am Cat on 09-Feb-2016
LOL... I wrote a poem back in 2008... called Poetic, just is. and then I switched my name from I am Cat, to Poetic, Just Is... and then... after I left, I came back as I am Cat... and had erased my portfolio... (it wasn't a very good poem) but it was a poem LOL (it's probably been done before... but it was a play on words) just like you did)
reply by I am Cat on 09-Feb-2016
    the poem-

    Poetic, Just Is.

    poetic... just is.
    poetic... to the end.
    poetic... just am.
    poetic... hit send.

    poetic... in my heart.
    poetic... in my pores.
    poetic. i'm his.
    poetic. i'm yours.

(hey, I never said it was a GOOD poem) LOL

-headshake- no...that doesn't look like a copy to me...alright, I'll call me lawyer tell him to forget about it. haha. did you know me back ...then...?
reply by I am Cat on 09-Feb-2016
lol, I've looked back at some postings... and you were here and I was here, but I don't think we crossed paths.. I wasn't here that long.
I only remember just a few people... I move up the ranks some, and then changed my name because I didn't like the way everyone expected me to write the same sort of things... so I switched my name to see if it would make a bit of difference...
    lol
    silly, huh?
it didn't, they figured out who I was and they liked it anyway. LOL
I ended up leaving... my kids were younger and I was having some life troubles... and I couldn't keep up... it was too much.. i kept going manic. LOL

so after my kids left home, I decided i'd come back. I had erased all my work though and had been gone for about four years. I think there were only a couple people who remembered me. Diane (artemis), Bear, and since Brooke left right before... I just sort of slid right in and began. ;)
I recognized people though. It's been fun. Some recognized one name and some the other, but most didn't. So that's ok too. I was a new improved version. I never stopped writing. 300-600 poems every year... so I stayed in 'shape' . lol
reply by the author on 09-Feb-2016
I'm sorry if I should remember...its just I've met so many people ...over the years...its hard to keep up if I'm not in some kind of constant contact. Yea...I was different back then huh..? lol ...I remember one Lady ask me a question and I said...um...well , I cant answer that right now....I will pray about it and get back to you....-smile-....ya know she wasn't asking to have my baby....so...I've grown a lil' bit i suppose....I was born to the computor world here...so my experience might be a lil' jaded...-headshake- how would I know...?.....lol

Lovely photo, video and poem. Poet has strong
convictions and seems hyped up about something. Singing happy tunes could mean he's happy. REALLY NICE. liberty justice

Michael,

Love it! Poetic justice....oh wait..."poetic just is"...wowah!
Off key voices indeed. I enjoyed your sha boop da ba ba.

Your music choice...with words like "we've got to live together"
"we are all the same" what a great message...everyday people.

Now this line is so profound and well stated:

"black and white human right to colorful perspectives"

Thanks for that great reminder...leave it to you Michael.

'different strokes for different folks...we got to live together"
almost forgot that song.

If I did not review so much and so short on 6's I would surely
send you one for your ingenuity and just plain pure message
here. (I don't throw around virtual 6's easily mind you:)

Linda
