You've got a good one here. I love the chorus with just the right amount of sting in each word. Almost a "cat-of-nine-tails" in each word. A great looking woman needs to sing it. It would be a big hit. I wish I had a six for you. Have a great day and God bless.

Love this poem. Rhyming was great and flowed nicely. Anyone can relate to the joys of finding someone new and still longing for a lost love. I found no flaws and would recommend this.

You have done an excellent job in expressing emotion, feeling of a relationship that did not go well and you provide commentary of its painful resolve, moving forward, fighting. Your free style of writing some rhyming and rhythm allowed more freedom of expression. The only suggestion would be punctuation with exclamation signs to give slightly more emphasis. For example where you have a comma after Well!. I find your supporting photography of a lion an interesting asset to your written entry. All the best.

Loved the repetition of "I'm laying in the loving arms of someone new", with LOVING being the operative word here.

This should be a real winner! So many songs and poems about break-ups are maudlin and depressive. This one breaks the mold and gives an upbeat, get-on-with-life, message. Lingering in the past never did anyone any good.

I have finally found your lyrics and they are great. They do in fact follow the Country Western style. It is sad that the ones who write the lyrics are not mentioned on the cut or if they are it is not in larger print. I look forward to learning from you that one of yours has become a hit (hopefully you will let us know on FanStory). I have trouble with the fifth stanza. It would go along with what is being said if the third line read (Hold's' me close and show's' me that we're through). That would give the person making the statement actually getting over the other person. I hope you understand what I am trying to point out. Great job and well done.

Yes, this has the ring of country and western song lyrics, with a chorus and repetition of the title phrase.
I'm not sure what to say about the message of revenge contained here - not a great quality most would say, but somehow acceptable in this contest.
