Tom,
It's no surprise to me that I enjoyed this poem. Whenever I see your name in my in-box, I already know what I'm in for! [-->Intriguing new poetic forms I (usually) haven't seen before, another wonderful personal photo and an intricately worded message that makes me think.] *smile*
I always look forward to them! Thanks!

Thank you Robyn. That is really nice to hear.

I enjoyed your interpretation of this sonnet-like form with its triplets and rhymes. Thanks for reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas and for sharing your photograph of your sister's richly decorated Christmas tree. Hugs and more happy holidays this year. -Joan

Thank you Joan. Happy Holidays to you.

I think I prefer the more interesting undulating rhyme scheme that you have adopted here. IT seems to me the more subtle variant of the two. Those certainly are some decorations. Are you absolutely sure there is a tree in there? Lol.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Tom to you and yours.

Thank you Pantygynt. I liked that undulation one better too. The tree is in there somewhere, I see a tiny piece of it at the top. Merry Christmas and Happy Bew Year to you and yours too.

That is what Christmas is about, to go to church, gather with family and friends, be cheerful and filled with joy. The rest is extra.

this is an excellent write, treischel, you did an excellent job writing this triolonnet sonnet about the way we should revere Christ at Christmas. I enjoyed reading it and the notes explaining the form made my eyes glaze over in amazement. sounds real hard

Trilonnet Sonnet, I am learning these terms and descriptions of poetry. I cannot say if yours is that way. But I bet it is. But I loved the rhyme and the message especially the admonishment to go to church and by your presence (or giving a present of your self) you honor him by worshipping with him and others.

Very spiritual poem that says to enjoy Christmas gifts and festivities but don't
forget the real meaning of Christmas.
Lyrics are so bouncy and festive rhyming in a perfect rhyme scheme.
Go to church and pray.liberty justice

This is a very beautiful poem you have penned my friend. I have not tried that style as of yet. I love the picture of the Christmas tree. I also believe in Jesus Christ being the reason for the season. Hugs , Teri
