I have just been reading through all Karen's stages of her knee replacement, I am so pleased hers has gone so well. Next week is the 6th week for both of us, in the UK, that will be it for me. They don't see you any more. I think you have it a lot better in the US, I didn't get the after care Karen is getting after my replacement, or now, after this other operation on the knee. I wish your wife a speedy recovery, and lots of lovely walks with you in the near future. Spring is the next season to look forward too. :) xx Sandra

Thank you so much Sandra. I think Karen has another week of physical therapy, but she loves being able to walk pain free. She is going about with a cane, and barely needs that. But her back is still a problem. We will continue to think of you and pray for you, as you continue to recover.

Thank you, Tom. I also will keep Karen in my prayers and hope her back improves. Now her knee has been done, perhaps it will help with the alignment of her spine and ease the pain. I truly hope so. Merry Christmas to you both. xx

Nicely done and a great pic of your wife. I do hope the surgery is successful and she is feeling much better very soon. The poem is a lovely tribute to her. Rox

How wonderful that we have our writing to see us through the tough times. You do an amazing job expressing yourself through verse. Knee replacements are tough, but usually the results are well worth it. We've had many friends that went through this surgery, but were like "new people" after their rehab and healing. I hope your wife experiences a pain-free existence very soon.

There won't be much smiling during rehab, but it is worth it. My mom grimaced through it twice - both hips- and is back to her smiling self pain-free. I wish your wife a speedy recovery.

" I have often seeing her suffering..." What great words of love for your wife. Yours must be such a big romance, and i celebrate. My aunt and uncle used to hold hands after fifty years of marriage...I wish, I wish.

I am pleased to hear that you see progress and are looking forward to taking walks again. Thank you for introducing me to another form. I enjoyed your rhymes and the refrain plus repeats. Here's to great gains in physical therapy! -Joan

She has a nice smile Tom. I wish Karen all the best with her new Knee.Funny how our bodies wear out but our spirit remains intact. A very nice poem about her journey toward a better life, well done. Nancy
