I am very late, Tom, but I am glad I spotted this one. It is really lovely, and how lucky your daughter is to own such a beautiful stained glass window of our Lord. I love the words to your poem, my friend, so very lovely. :) Sandra.

I hope your wife is coming along well. I can say that at last I am getting better. ;) xx

Thank you for adorning your Triquint with the beautiful stained glass window. I admired your mono-rhyme and repeats, and I also enjoyed the visual format of your poem. Hugs and Happy Thanksgiving when it arrives- Joan

Hi, Treischel,
"Comes strength by..." is a truly superior poem with an unusual structure. The rhyme and the meter are excellent. The message is great. The only reasons I am not giving it six stars is because it already has an exceptional rating and because the introductory picture seems to imply that the three qualities of grace, faith, and love are inherent solely in Christianity. I do understand that this is what inspired you to write this poem.
Your friend and colleague.

Thank you Preston. Didn't mean to suggest that, just that he modeled it. But I take your point.

A very beautiful touching poem. It does not matter how bad things look, there is always hope. It is a very beautiful stained glass portrait and surely a very valuable treasure.

For many writers this would end up as a triumph of form over content but you have risen above that here. Giving the whole thing unity in the downward stepped fromat that adds an appropriate visual element to the poem. I think I would hesitate tyo try this form, but you have mastered it well.

Thank you Pantygynt. Those are high accolades. I did naked a correction in the first stanza as I didn't realize the words "the sky had been truncated to the next line. Didn't show that way on the editor. Glad you liked it.

Never believe that editor. It is the least WYSIWYG thing about FanStory.

4 sure. I don't know how Dean Kuch can do what he dies with it.
