Take home only memories after a safari- amen to that. Digital camera in hand, every nature walk , at least in the mountains, was a safari. And all the best shots of bear arrived when I did not have a camera. Hunting for poems- I completely get that. Excellent safari into free verse.

Interesting mix of mixed media. I love that you are hunting but will never kill because you are hunting with a camera. "My captured delights are made of digital sights." That is my favorite line. Too bad you missed the contest, I think you might have had a winner!

Really great free style poem. It has structure that carries meaning without being formal. The figurative language is fresh (captured delights, digital sights-metaphors) The rhyme is simple and does not follow a formal scheme. The sentiment expressed is really necessary in this modern world. I appreciate the selfie--knowing that I am not the only one of large girth.
