One of the things that I liked best about your poem is that it moved throughout dusk and ended at the dawning of a new day. Great job. :-)

This is not a poem...just kidding. I was flipped the ol' one star bird from the same w/the same reasoning. This is a really strong entry into the contest, a gradual and graceful turn of dusk to dawn.

These lines create an emotional impact in the soothing words that speaks of the transition between dusk and dawn. I saw that a standard member gave you a poor rating which was completely unjustified so don't let it affect you. It happens to me too. Well done, Tom.

Thank you Rod. I do get angry when fools run rampant. But, it has passed and I've only broken a few things. Just kidding.

Tom,

This is a lovely poem. You've done a SUPERB job with the transition from the quiet end of day that closes with a colorful sunset to the brilliant new beginning day that starts of with the glorious new sun. I enjoyed it! Great work!

What a dramatic photograph and presentation with the Diamante reflecting the image! I admired the circularity of your poem from "Dusk" to "Dawn" and your inclusion of alliteration. Best wishes in the contest- Joan

A beautiful poem to include dusk and dawn in one poem. The form of the poem takes the form of a diamant. Once again an excellent photo.

Hello Tom,
I see you've fell victim to a troll or something. :(
Well, no matter, this should render his/her review useless. ;)
As it should be.
This is a lovely Diamonte Poem, and if only one would take the time to read that it's a contest entry, they could see it's written to a form.
You know the saying, "It's hard to fly with the eagles... " well, you know the rest. ;)
Anyway... good luck in the contest my friend! ;)

I appreciate the beautiful picture, and lovely words, however, I don't consider
this poetry, but the soothing, peaceful words in this short verse is very good.

What! This is an entry in a contest to a required format. Go see the rules, and then reconsider your response.

A somewhat reflective poem if you'll pardon the pun, but your little diamante reflective symmetry in its own right echoes the reflection in the artwork and, after all what is dawn but dusk from the opposite direction.
