I love this delightful Swannet Sonnet... I even like the way that sounds. :)
It's so cute and what a lovely little tyke he is. Isaac is a piece of work, I can tell...
;)
But oh so worth it. <3

Boys capture their mom's hearts... forever.

This is just adorable... well done Tom...I can see you're a wonderful
grandfather.

Lovely and cute photo of your grandson that complements your poem perfectly. Ye an other Sonnet. And you are so right aged two and three they can be a handful.

This poem is endearing in reminding us of our kids or grandkids when they were toddlers. I remember many years ago when my daughter was three when she had a tantrum in a supermarket, falling to the floor and refusing to get up. Mom was on the point of using force, but I reminded my then wife that there was a store detective watching her! Well done, Tom.

Just when I think you have covered all the sonnets, you surprise me with another form. I can imagine it coupled with birds too. Again, I enjoyed one of your daughter's photos and think that your grandson is quite handsome, albeit a "handful". I enjoyed your rhymes and repeats, and they reminded of my son when he was two, and my husband searched under his arm for his "yes"! That simple tactic worked more than once!! Big hugs- Joan

Well, if it is any consolation, Tom, the little boys who are handfulls grow up to be the perfect of gentlemen. I have two sons, 5 granddaughters and one grandson, and the boys are all amazing. I had to laugh though. Lovely poem, my friend. :) Sandra xsx

This is a fun sonnet. Do you think it is the shorter lines that lend a lighter tone to the sonnet and make it more suited to the lighter content. It seems to me that they do. Great fun and very true.

How can that little Angel face be naughty with devil horns? It is just a passing phase and this phase is pudding measured to the teenage phase.

Aw yes, The terrible twos. They learn the word 'NO' and they know how to use it. LOL You have to learn reverse psychology
and let them think everything is their idea! They are easy to fool. Cute poem. Cuter kid. He looks like an angel. :<) Nancy

The terrible two's:) but yes 3's can be even worse for awhile.

Though I love your nature poems, I love your family poems the best.

Thanks for sharing.
