I thought this was a wonderful poem. Didn't like how the rhymes were bold. I understand the reasoning but when I read it I emphasizes each rhyme.
I read it like this:
So gooooo enjoy them, they so quickly groooow,
At least the first time. Terrific job. Very enjoyable. Love the topic of kids just having fun. Nothing more wonderful.

Time To Play

I love this sonnet about your son-in-law and his kids playing games together. It is true, there is something contagious about a child's laugh, you can't help but laugh along with them too.
I admire your knowledge in writing sonnets and writing one as difficult as this one and make it seem easy. I would not write this kind of poem, too many rules, just looking at your poem gives me a headache LOL Well Done!

I love this sonnet about your son-in-law and his kids playing games together. It is true, there is something contagious about a child's laugh, you can't help but laugh along with them too.

Excellent photo that complements yet an other Sonnet perfectly. Your son in law visited with two of your grandchildren. The played and had a lot of fun. I really liked this form with the internal rhymes all the way as well.

I remember those days when my kids were babies and toddlers where the play was endless to the parents' delight. Now they are young adults and are involved in more serious pursuits of life---studies and career. Helena is at university and Josh is in grade twelve preparing for University in the fall of 2016. Well written and brings back great memories, well done, Tom.
