Really creative, nice animation as well. Beautifullly written and it drew my emotions tremendously. I recommend to use more words, overall its good and desreves to win.

Nicely stated. If you love it , let it go. It will eventually come back to the ground.
You an also look at the kite as being your troubles and worries tied to your wrist. Letting the kite go releases your woes. well done, Mike.

Great idea!!! I always loved flying kites as a child. So I bet if you tried letting go of all your worries with the simple release of a kite string, it might work, if only for a lil while. :)

Hi. Yeah, I just looked and I've only been reviewing about one or two a month. I do read almost every one. I read your recent one and am planning to review it. I'm trying not to post anything and I think I'll just have to really stick to that. I still write, but it isn't right to post and not participate. I was hoping to enter a couple contests and keep a low profile, but it isn't working out. I didn't mean to slight you and I'm sorry for making you feel that way. Maybe I'll have more time in the future. In the meantime, your book is amazing. It reads with so much more power as a book than it does in pieces. It was a compelling read that I couldn't put down. Very emotional, but never in the wrong way. Always honest and in a way that would help and illuminate. mikey
