A very cleverly designed poem, I haven't seen on before, but it looks quite impressive, the wording is inventive, the tiered effect is very impressive, breaking it up into facets of function, I enjoyed it, although grasping the concept is hard, oh human limitations, well done, most impressive, blessings Roy.

From ancient time till now it is always a desire for some artists and writers to keep evidence of the culture the society is in. These are extremely valuable. One can trace back culture and history of ancient people and ancestors. Totem poles are great examples keeping the culture of the society alive. The poem is also written in a certain format to make very interesting.

I like the mysticism in this poem. It begs the reader to evaluate and understand the significance of these magical poles which my culture and yours find strange. But there's a truth that's irresistible--their belief is as real as ours are. And they do feel protected. Well done, Tom.

The flying saucer style plus your own invented envoi is a most appropriate form so the poem comes over as a piece of concrete poetry reflecting the shape in the art work and creating a pleasing whole.
Meanwhile the content, commencing as a simple explanation soon moves on eventually becoming a liturgy ending in what can only be described as a litany, beseeching protection.
Well conceived and brilliantly executed a perfect 6
