I did not know Patricia created this format--good for her and you for handling it so well, along with the rhymes and repeats. I liked the borrowed picture--no examples yet in your neighborhood! Cheers- Joan

Loved this poem--especially the format. Outer space and destiny--it's quite a fantasy to imagine living on a different planet. It wouldn't be for everyone! I'll stick to Earth, literally and figuratively. Ha! Good job, Tom.

True--man's technological advances makes what you say possible if not likely. But we have to be careful man uses their new power with humanity and treat any harmless aliens they meet compassionately. Well done, Tom.

Really like your saucer-shaped stanzas. I hope we do make it out into space to colonize. And that we don't muck it up this time. Terra forming is possible as long as the first instinct is not to overly-exploit resources.

Another interersting little format for you to play with. Certainly the use of rhyme makes it more interesting and probvably more challenging to write. At the risk of being accusaed of using the wrong part of the site, I have pleasure in tell ing you that tomorrow I shall be posting my Crown of Heroic Sonnets. This will bring our poetic relationship full cirlce as it wasa youre massacre that determined me to write one on one of my first visits to the site.

Thank you Pantygynt. I look forward to it. Then, I'll probably have to write another.

Treischel this is wonderfully done. Thanks for the promoting of my format. I am thinking of doing a contest for this format so I can see wonderful flying saucers. Patricia
