Tells it exactly as it is how 4 well chosen lines to get a powerful message across. Seems mankind doesn't learn from past mistakes no wonder we are in such a volatile state. Good luck for the competition Cheers Christine

My vote to win the contest. I read all of the entries, and yours best caught my attention as to what I was expecting to read. The simplicity of the limited syllable count requires a poet to arrange words craftily, which you have done.

Your naani poem, Life, uses its twenty-two syllables to state that we can't seem to learn from our mistakes and just keep making the same ones again and again.

This meets the contest requirements with a correct line and syllable count. You deliver a bonus for the reader by combining the required form with an Acrostic presentation which shows some genuine creativity and effort in fulfilling the prompt. I wish you all the best in the voting and thank you for sharing it.

I counted 22 syllables. You're well within the required amount for this poetry form :) I agree with your message. History doesn't seem to keep people from repeating the same mistakes. Good luck to you in this contest.

I appreciate the truth expressed in your poem. Superficially it appears to be an enigmatic truth. On meditation we understand this is clearly and simply explained in the Bible. (Proverbs 2:2-7, 4:7-11; Jeremiah 10:23)
You have succinctly captured the essence of Jehovah's wisdom.
There were no technical errors. Thank you for sharing your work with us. It was a joy and a blessing.

George Santayana was once quoted as saying, "Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it." I think your Naani-acrostic/rhymer here echoes those sentiments extremely well.

Good luck to you in the contest. ~Dean :}
