This poem, lilac from the wind. uses all the prerequisite words and tells a nice story of being presented, sort of, a fragrant flower from nature, via the wind. Nice.

Thank you Bill, for taking the time to read and review my entry .i found this contest interesting and thought initially how can I tie in all the words, but managed to come up with 'lilac from the wind' so hopefully met the brief and pleased the reader. You did a fabulous job in making the poem work with the specified words. I found it enjoyable to read and you indeed tell a lovely story. I loved the theme you choice, the colors used added so much to the poem and the rhyme was perfect...
Congratulations... I should think this was a difficult task, but you did pull it off in grand style.
Best wishes in the contest.

Thank you K.Lorraine for you kind and encouraging words. It was challenging and fun and once I brought the image into my thinking I hoped to write a piece that my readers would find worthy of the contest. The Graphic seemed to fit the poem ( what great photographers to choose from) I am enjoying this site very much and also meeting new people so Hello and thanks again Cheers Christine😊

I like the images you show in the word contest. The lilacs smell so great and bloom when school's out. The perfume is grand and lasts a few weeks. Now, the peonies are in bloom. Great rhymes with scent and present. You have alliteration with stop, smell and scent. Good entry for contest and great photo! flylikeaneagle

Thanks you flylikeaneagle. I had fun and enjoyed putting this piece together, and using the lilac as the centre piece helped bring it together, made sense to me as I love lilac and it has such a beautiful perfume and reminds me of my grandmothers farm garden. I relay appreciate your feedback and lovely comments.Cheers Christine😄

Yes, this is good. I love my Lilac bushes especially the smell when other things smell atrocious. Seems to start the moment off just right. Best to you in the contest.

This meets the contest requirements beautifully. The lilac is one of my favorite plants and you have paid wonderful tribute to it by making it the focal point of this piece. The rhyme and meter are lovely and it reads wonderfully aloud. I wish you all the best in the voting and thank you for sharing it.

I enjoyed your poem. I like the color presentation. Good job with rhyme. I see 2 things:
1. natures [nature's]
2. dipper--does not mean to dip low Please revise so others do not take off stars. Others may not notice this use. Anyway, I know the words were hard to fit into something to make sense. Good luck in the contest.

thanks jannypan for your constructive review and yes I wasn't to sure how to use the word dipper but it just seemed to fit this line and I hope the readers will allow me a bit of leeway with i'ts use. But I enjoyed the challenge and appreciate you reading and reviewing. I will make the change also . Thanks again Cheers Christine😀

Your poem paints a picture of nature, of a windy day, and includes all of the words required.
Love the art, love the imagery.
Excellent.

The words of the prompt has taken you to a beautiful time in space where the sweet smell of lilacs can change your life by drifting and wafting through
Lovely words descriptive to the extent that could almost inhale the perfume from the lilac blooms

This is a very interesting angle on this list of words taking us into the heart of this beautiful season of Spring with this exquisite lilac as Nature's 'gift' and its heaven scent
