Time does fly right on by when you are on here now doesn't it..Then when your done writing you have to come back 3,5, even 6 times to see if you got any reviews..Ah yes been there done that humm just 2 more times coming back and I will have my 6 for today That is returns not a 6 for what I wrote hehehe

Christine, one would think you have been writing Acrostic poetry for a while, as you did an excellent job for a first time penning this one. I first joined in 2010 after the death of my sister. I left in 2012 due to illness; returned this year in April and once again I am addicted. Excellent job my friend and best wishes in the contest. P harp

Thanks Portia , yes I can see how easy it is to become any bit addicted and felt the words came easily with each letter . A fun style of writing. I am going to have a go at others as well. Am learning a lot of new stuff re types of poetry etc also enjoying the great poems posted Cheers Christine😀

Your well-penned acrostic has me both applauding and lamenting. How well I remember the days when I, too, forsook all to be faithful on this site. Somehow I became unfaithful and played the fool on social media and it's trivia. May each line of this New Arrival Poem serve as a blast from a trumpet calling this old stray to return home. This is great Christine!! I think everyone goes through the addict stage when they first find the site, then we all settle into comfortable stretches that don't necessarily use up all of our spare time!!

A common affliction, this addiction. And, as you'll learn, a common topic for FanStory writers. Between this addiction, and writer's block, you have the two
most common complaints. Ironic, I think.
