Our world wouldn't be much without color, would it? I like how you point out the most beautiful things in life are God given. Where would we be without the splendor of nature. Nicely penned, Tom.

What a lovely poem, Tom. I love the photo you took, it is brilliant. I can see it framed with the words of your beautifully written poem. Together they are quite wonderful. :) Sandra

A beautiful poem that captures the wondrous flowers of nature created by God for men. But in the face of the destruction of parts of our natural landscape for depressing tormenting concrete skyscrapers, did men really get the message God delivered? Well done, Tom.

Thank you for sharing the flower display and the derivation of the Ampeletum. I enjoyed your six-syllable lines and rhymes--they brought a smile to my face too. Cheers- Joan

This is a really interesting form and your addition of the terminal couplet works very well in this context, a bit like the final couplet of a Shakespearean sonnet. To use this form in a poem about growing plants is indeed a pleasing match of form and content.

This is a great poem. The picture is awesome. I love flowers.

Good job with the format of which I will say no more.

I like your idea about Genesis adding of another chapter.

Good job. I see no changes. Thanks for sharing.

I thought you did a wonderful job of both showing how flowers add color to this world. And you also expressed your faith. A creative and beautiful poem.

This is a beautiful poem. As an artist, color is such a gift to me. I very much feel sorry for people who suffer from color-blindness. Patricia
