This is sheer brilliance and much better than the one on the antique car. It flows well and is amazing. The poem at the bottom adds to the great impact of this poem. Well done, keep the creative juices flowing.

I knew you couldn't resist another calligram, but I didn't expect one so quickly. And we've gone from fast cars to power boats in the blink of an eye!! I noted your attention to detail, since your boat also has a windshield and I relished that parts of your poem can be read vertically and horizontally and it rhymes too. You are amazing--at least this time, I have an appropriate six to award. Endless cheers- Joan

Thank you Sir T. I'm afraid my boat wouldn't float. So, of course, stick with your horse.

This is an interesting concept. This attempt is pretty well presented. I am not sure I could do it but might as some time try my hand at it. Patricia

Treischel, I assigned calligrams to my students years ago and called them Occupation Poetry. You would write a poem in the shape of the tool or tools one used in that occupation. This is very interesting as presenting the visual as well as the verse requires more parts of the brain to be tickled.
Thank you for reintroducing me to calligrammes.

As you say, not as good as the car but a good effort nonetheless. So we'll have to give you a five for trying. Looking at that vessel of yours I don't think I'd want to go astern in her!

Thank you Pantygynt. Yeah, I'm not too sure it's seaworthy.

Be all right on a shallow lake perhaps!
