This is a solid entry into you Use These Words Poetry Prompt. It is cleverly written and this structure is great. Contest requirements appear to be filled. I enjoyed this. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks for your comments, but I would create a more sensible poem next time.

This free verse is well constructed and has some well chosen
words. The description of Love carved in stone is done well throughout the poem. Good job!

Excellent
Only the most emotional and motivated, under the influence of pheromones, will proclaim his love by writing in stone, or on a tree. Politicians will advise you only to say it, so that you can "walk it back," if someone with any standing protests; a would be suitor from 6th grade.
Nevertheless, writing in stone, or wood, often provides immediate results, thereby avoiding the long courtship.

I probably should not have read this one because the motivation is so artificial and ... un-endearing.
It just does not read like poetry, however, I do admit that you managed to make it seem more poetic than ordinary prose, and you did string the required words together without too much artificiality.

Thanks for your comment.
Probably these set up peotyr competitions are not
how the great poets did their stuff.

The picture and the artwork behind the words give the illusion of either being written in stone or carved into a tree. The writer met the challenge and created something quite romantically beautiful also. I give credit and kudos to this artist who made this work so well and my thanks
