Bret where do you get all this info about CT. I got
dizzy reading all those medical words and terms. I
think you should have been a Dr. or at least an RN.

I know what CT is from first hand or should I say
first wrist experience. Had the op -didn't help all
that much. The surgeon said I waited too long.

Never had even a twinch of pain following surgery. Lost
about 50% of gripping power, even though I played with the ball of clay I was given.

It sounds like a horror story when we lose the ability to glory in, or take for granted the miracle of our bodies. Our bodies are the temples of our soul, all to easily threatened by physical weakness. And then our imaginations take over and pain makes us quiver and quake. I can sense what it is like to feel threatened. I suffer from a milder ailment called Sciatica. -Ekim777

Hi Brett,
This is a good detailed article.
With a lot of information
presented on the subject.
The piece is written
in such a way that
it clearly explains the subject.
However, it seems to almost be a list of facts, symptoms, and cures for the indicated problem.

Well, if you are going to read about a medical ailment do you not want to know the facts, symptoms, and cures of that ailment? Thank you for your comments and support.

For a health science university student this is quite interesting.
This was described well and flowed nicely.
Good work.

Wow, this is real technical writing. I took a course in college and quickly knew I wanted to be a creative writing. This article is very well written and the author appears very informed. Great job, my friend. Now I know something about Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Having suffered from Carpal Tunnel for years, I found this very interesting. When I was diagnosed about eight years ago, I had just moved house, so I didn't want to be disabled until the house was straight. As soon as I stopped decorating, it stopped, and now only returns if I do and prolonged wrist movement (like using a paintbrush. It makes me wonder if I actually have it all, because that's the only time it happens. Thank you for all this beautifully written information!

An edifying article on a painful and very debilitating condition
It affects ones ability to cope with the small but important things in life. One them being to hold cups and feeding utensils
The pain in over the threshold and made more so by the need to constant use and flex the hand
Thanks for sharing

A well written and informative article, which scared the crap out of me. These symptoms seem familiar, especially after spending the day typing out reviews. You have done a very good job of describing the early signs of this, which several people I know suffer from. A factory workers curse, and if not treated early can leave you crippled for life. I believe Willie Nelson suffers from this.

this is very well written, brett, you did an excellent job describing the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. I have some nights when I wake up with a Charlie horse in my forearm, and it draws my hand downward. the same thing happens with my ankle sometimes too. it usually feels better if I add some heat to it.
