You know, Jewell, something I've missed about your poetry is the beautiful imagery your words provide the reader. This poem is such a welcome sight and no exception! Nicely done! I suppose with writing so precise and vivid, you do not require artwork accompanying, though I admit I am surprised there isn't a photo or painting attached.
You mention a "void of shining white"... heck girl, you can have the shining white we are under! Sheesh! I'll share with you! That's just the kind of friend I am!! haha...
