What a lovely way to remember the passing of your mother-in-law, Tom, and how wonderful that was for your wife's sister to have seen the way she left you all. This is a lovely tribute and a lovely photo. :) Sandra. xsx

Sorry for your loss, Tom. You've penned a wonderful poem for the last, peaceful moments of her life. Death doesn't have to be ugly. (Never heard of a Faux Limerick before--well done.)

Thank you for the kind thoughts.

I did not know there was a name for a poem that doesn't follow the meter or humor or often bawdy aspect of a limerick. I often create this type of poem for occasions as you did here. I enjoyed your rhymes and your capturing your mother-in-law at peace in her last moments. Warm regards- Joan

Good memorial poem for your mother-in-law. This suggests that dying is not as bad as people believe it to be. A well composed Limerick with all elements present
Lovely picture of your mother in law

As a good person she took her limousine ride to heaven with the angel. God bless her and support your family in these sad times after her death. Excellent rhyming and pace.

My sister was a nurse in the ICU at a hospital for 25 years and she said she had seen many people die, and she could always tell those who knew the Lord because the death was peaceful, but for those who didn't know Him there deaths were a struggle.

Thanks for capturing the last moment of life in such a clear and happy image. I have never seen this event portrayed so positively.I feel her calm acceptance and lack of fear to go. I love the word choice, tone, and flow. Excellent job.
