Our universe is so big that i am in total awe of the way it is held together and the design of it all. There was not a big bang that put this all together, there had to be creative design, by a great designer, the greatest of all designers. Blessings, Patricia

The Universe is quite fantastic, I agree, and we do stand in awe of it all when we perceive the sky and the visible stars and planets. My daughter works for NASA so I follow avidly her activities-she is an Aerospace Engineer. You have made good use of rhyming, descriptive language and imagery to convey your thought. I enjoyed reading your informative notes, also. Faye

The imagery in your piece is beautiful; one can easily and fully imagine a starry night, insomuch as to delve further, and imagine the sun, planets and galaxies around us. Your concise wording allows imagination to flow and expand like the universe your write of, and your color is cleverly made to resemble stars on a black sky.
The piece drips with humility and the feeling of utter insignificance of us relative to the entirety of the cosmos, and your adoration and emotion of the universe hangs on every word.
Thank you as well for introducing me to a form of poetry that's new to me.
Wonderful work.

Only a great poet can look up into the sky and pen or key such magnificent words. Loved you work choice and also the beautiful art work you chose for this writing.

First, let me assure you, I am out of sixes, or this most certainly would have one - it speaks to my most intimate thoughts directly, as if your muse somehow expressed my feelings about the cosmos, poet - seriously.
It is simply exquisite.

The universe is an endless frontier. What we know is still at its beginning stages. You've captured the unknown beautifully with alliteration and rhyming that's as smooth as viewing night time stars. Wonderfully written. Les

There is just something about looking up at the stars and the moon. My dad and I use to look at the moon and try to figure out what the moon looked like. Something so simple yet we always had different ideas. It was always fun. Great job friend

We truly have no concept of the depth and vastness of our skies and universe. You epitomized that with the lines:
"I delight in the mystery of it all
and ponder the moments of light that may fall
on this pitiful person who sits (on?) a wall
while some comet tails blaze just off to my right"
This is very well written and powerful with excellent flow, rhyming and imagery. Very much enjoyed and thank you for sharing.

A fascinating walk on the dark side
of the moon when only the glimmer
of a far flung star lights up the sky
and as you say the sky spreads before
you in a blanket of light.
Well done

this is an excellent write, treishcel, you did an excellent job portraying the beauty of the universe, great imagery you presented through your words. I enjoyed reading it. I don't like this new format. I like when you can look at the top paying writes and the recognized writes.
