This remains to be a very unique story. There is noting on here like this. You write this kind of story so well. Very intriguing chapter. Great job.

An extremely good chapter. A stranger approaches the house and they invite him in. It turns out that he is looking for the 'evil ones'. They all say they don't know.

Very good scene! You portray the disgusting sickos well. One question: How could they possibly find Julia by going down the road if she's hiding out in a forest cottage?

She hasn't reached it yet. They are on their way to the cottage as the priests are traveling towards Abramus' house. So, Cassius has to run ahead to warn his dad while they hide. I can't believe how long this has become. It's supposed to be one life of many. How in the world do I follow this one? Hahaha. mikey

Use the rule of threes. THree lives is enough. You do not need a fourth. Let them fall in love again now and stay in love.

That is probably sensible, but the best story is yet to come and there are a couple others that are good too. I wanted to bring them to the present. Hahaha. I sound like I'm about eight years old and want a pony!!!

Rastavius had made his intentions clear, and it took a lot of self control from Abramus to remain calm. Cassius is young and couldn't contain himself. Another well crafted chapter.

It's heating up and it has to reach a conclusion at some point. But, I love this story. It's difficult to stop writing it! mikey

I love this story too. I fear I am beginning to sound like a broken record again, but you have done a superb job with this chapter (and the entire book. I anxiously look forward to reading the next post.

Quite an interesting story you have going on, Michael. Would you call it Medieval? Just wondering because I appreciate the Medieval genre, but know not that much about it. Keep up the good work.

The battle is heating up. Leopold is bringing in powerful people. They have warned Abraham. Cassius is out to warn the children and their care givers. It is going to be hard to keep him from mouthing off in defense of his sister. Great work.

So the die is cast. They are actively hunting for Julia and the others. Honestly, I don't thin it will take long for them to figure out where they are. The priests seemed to be two steps ahead in the conversation with Abramus. I did like that both Abramus and Casius stood up for what they believe. I think that will be the preists undoing. People who aren't afraid to stand up to them.
Great chapter. Still going strong.

I have them in the forest where I want them. I'm just trying to set it up so that the resistance makes sense. The power is in the hands of the priests unless allies can be found. But, the forest is dark and concealing. Things can happen there. :)) Great review as are all of yours. Thought I'd better answer one just in case it's been months! I'll get caught up on reviewing soon. mikey

Interesting thought to the story, is there information to be gained from the vision Julia can use to aid in their current situation? I see nothing to improve this chapter and await the unfolding of events :)

The tension level of this is incredible. I did not think you would be able to ramp this up another notch but damn, was I wrong. This is one of the best books I have read anywhere. Bravoo!!
