My only negative thought is that this work is not designed for anything but an FS contest, and becomes a bit weak out of that context. Excellent.

This is so clever. I love the wit and understatement of this. It's actually a perfect depiction of our mindset when we enter these things. The excitement and yhen the bright idea ... nope, not so bright. Then back to thinking.....

Very subtle humor....Love the picture...sometimes I don't think we give animals enough respect that they have feelings.
I like the title very funny....I thought it was little unclear in meaning..I had to read it a couple of times to be sure that had the purpose of the poem...
But I did get...and it was great.
