Another terrific chapter that started to get my blood boiling. That bloody Leopold is really beginning to worry me. He is a dangerous and self-absorbed man that will not listen to anyone but himself. Great story and I am off to read the next chapter.

The 'ol something in the eye trick. I will bet that at the colosseum he yawns and rests his arm across her shoulders. I know that in the dark ages, epilepsy and mental illness were widely looked at as the work of devils. Just how many were enlightened? Were there treatments based on some sort of science?

I'm sure that information was quickly passed in those days, even without modern tech. I wonder how they will unite. There is strength in numbers so it can't hurt. I love the picture

Michael: I like how the kiss, eye, uummm.. Great idea. In your first day of work line after this...note, but her first day, not here. Another note, "there son has visions", maybe, "their".
I like the party at the end and more people coming in. Good story line Michael...more stew? Fresh bread too?

Maybe, they can muster up support from the village to prevent the wicked priest from carrying out his planned actions. The obsession with demons and witches those days was just too much. Well written chapter and most enjoyable read. Faye

The group is gathering friends, but also people who need their help. The danger increases as those in need come. Leopold has spread the word that demon possession will increase. The group must present the mostly saintly front. Great work.
