I finally got my answered. In the beginning it was your words that I was reading but in the last few chapters it was Wayne's writing that I was reading. Good luck in the contest.

After the reception line was finished, we went - add comma
When we looked closely at the napkins, we noticed - add comma
We didn't know who had the wire, but - add comma
500 feet deep, which made Pat - add comma
When we arrived back in the California area, - add comma
our life together it is only - put either a period or a semicolon after "together"
What a great idea for a book and a wonderful legacy to hand down through generations of your family :-) Brooke

Thank you there is still more to come to my story. A lot of things which I had to endure, but praise God I made it through some difficulties.

I am so sorry that your husband passes away but he and you leave this beautiful memory of the first part of your marriage. I had to laugh about the thought of gambling on your wedding night.

Thanks for the review. The wonderful part of this story is that our daughters were on our minds as we worked together to write the story. On our honeymoon I was not old enough to gamble, however I doubt anyone would have questioned us as I looked old enough.

Such a joyous day described for your wedding described by Wayne & yourself, interesting, humorous details about the cake & that photographer ...I have only been to Las Vegas once, & it was when my husband drove us there, about 1972 on our way back from California, arriving he did back to Long Beach, then the Naval shipyard, after his ship came back there from Vietnam....He drove us back through the mountainous states, two-laners still then in places, the way back to Illinois, as I didn't have my driver's license .. Very nice read...Thanks, Pat.

Another delightful story of your new life with Wayne. I like how he includes personal details like being saved and the wedding reception with the cake was very amusing. 8-)

At the Lake Meade Lodge we in late January--something seems to be missing here.
Very touching to read the memoirs of a couple who remained in love for such a long time . I think you were ordained by God Himself and for that you must be thankful. may the rest of your life be just as fulfilling.

At the Lake Meade Lodge in late January,
I have it corrected now.

Those memories written by your husband before he passed on must mean so much to you. It must have been so emotional for him to write for his family.
You have repeated two of the chapters by mistake.
I enjoyed reading it, well done

Thanks for the review, Mary. He didn't know how long he had to live at this point, but knew he wanted to share some of his memories with his daughters. The girls were so pleased their daddy did that for them.

I love it when the big businesses start a price war. Then we can get something for a bargain that we would normally ill afford. Although I haven't read the previous postings, this is interesting and well written. Well done.
