Mikey, it is my opinion that demonic possession, as it were, is in the reverse of what many think. I think that Satan picks on those who are frail to abuse, confuse and torment them. The brain malfunction is present with or without spiritual influences. It is also biological. Well presented. :0 GracieAnn

I like that you are starting small, building up to inquisition on a grand scale. In the sweep of history, we often forget the players, the bit parts, how the whole thing started.

Thank you. I love finding old biographies. I have one about Lincoln written in 1870. It is just like you describe, filled with details and first hand accounts that aren't included in today's history. Appreciate all your reviews and input. mikey

Things are really beginning to solidify with this chapter. Your characters and story line remain strong ... you are writing with authority which gives confidence to your readers (at least to this one, anyway) Loren

This was a nice easy chapter to read. It is starting to look like Valerius is getting quite a little following of his own. I hope it will be enough to combat Leopold.

There is no end to the depth you are adding to these characters. I love how you write about modern day issues using 500 AD as a platform. It suits the story perfectly and draws the reader in wonderfully.

I really enjoyed this chapter. Julia manages to get the girl out of her depression. This seems to scare the mother. Like maybe she'll die too.

Good chapter. Looks like Julia's father understands the danger and has accepted a hard truth about Leopold. I suspect Leo LIKED killing that girl .. he got off on it, and now he wants an excuse to play God's executioner again! Kill him off in a very painful way, would you please?

Hey. That just put the coolest image in my head. Hahaha. I may just kill him off just as you request. I think it excited him too. Thanks for the great idea. More to come shortly. How long would it take to mail egg foo young to California? :) mikey

A few days... cold, and probably filled with salmonella toxin by then... eggs, you know. :)

Yeah... but, Egg foo young!! I'm immune to practically everything! My generation didn't fear germs, we embraced them!

True. We're better off for it too! My favorite outdoor activity from age 4 to 8 was making mud pies... PLAYING with worm and germ infested dirt. Try that today, and your parents end up in jail! LOL!

Well now more people are on the same page. There's strength in numbers. I'm curious to learn why Florentina sees wolves and who she was before.
