Hard to read this with tears in my eyes, lol. Beautiful thought about your lovely wife. Congratulations on twenty years of bliss. I can relate,(36 years on my end). You do such a wonderful job expressing the pain and joy that occurs in every relationship. It doesn't matter what you go through as long as you have a mate to share and hold on too.

Agreed! To the next twenty. I let my wife read your excellent post before she went to bed last night, and she wanted me to pass on to you, how much she appreciated the write, also. She asked, "Now Deans the one that rights all the horror stuff, right?" Lol. I told her we all have are different sides. I write a lot of rather dark pieces, but the other day I was counting poems in some of my genres, and was surprised to see I had penned more love poems than any other. Who knew? Lol.
